Linksys has released a new firmware for the SPA8000 on October 24th which fixes numerous bugs. The new firmware is version 5.1.10. The previously release was 5.1.9(a). Check out the release notes before installing. The firmware and release notes can be found on Linksys.com by going to Linksys.com and clicking “Technical Support” across the top nav bar. Then, “Choose a Product” and in the category “Voice over IP (VoIP)” make sure to select “VoIP Routers” from the dropdown menu. Find the pic closest resembling your SPA8000 and you should find it by name in the dropdown menu.
