Frequently Asked Questions
Online Ordering
Are my credit card details secure when ordering?
Yes! Your credit card details are protected by Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption between your browser
and our servers, ensuring that no one is able to intercept your sensitive information on its way to us.
Once your order has been received by our servers, we process the charge to your card, and then immediately
encrypt your payment information. We store the private key for decrypting your information on a secure,
non-networked computer physically seperate from the facility that hosts our site.
Once I order, how long until my order ships?
Most orders received by 12pm Pacific Time (PST) ship the same day by your chosen shipping method. If
there is any delay, we will contact you as soon as we become aware of them.
How can I track the status of my order?
Once you complete your order, an automated email will be sent to you which contains a link to track
the status of your order. As soon as possible after your order is shipped, you will receive a further
email which contains your package tracking number.
Do you ship to US Armed Forces overseas (APO/FPO Addresses)?
Yes! Our site automatically calculates the cost and availability of both USPS Priority Mail and USPS Express Mail Military Service (EMMS) if available.
To place an order to be shipped to an APO or FPO address, simply choose United States as your country, and your "state" (AE, AA or AP).
Can I pay by wire transfer?
Yes, we accept payments by wire transfer. Please choose the "Wire Transfer" option
instead of "Credit Card" when placing your order. Once your order has been received, we will forward
account information to you immediately for payment.
Please be sure to include your order number in the reference field so that our accounts department
can attribute the payment to your order. Please only send United States Dollars to avoid any
miscalculations or currency fluctuations delaying your shipment. Please also ensure that you pay all local
and intermediary bank fees so that the amount we receive is the full amount of your order.

What is the EMS shipping option?
Express Global Mail (EMS) is a fast and very cost effective carrier for international shipments.
It is run by the postal service in each country, and generally arrives at the destination within
2-5 business days, and can be tracked online. We generally recommend this shipping method for
international orders.
How much duty/tax can I expect to pay when importing a product?
The US Dept. of Commerce maintains a list of taxes and duties applicable on imports from the United States
into most countries at
http://www.export.gov/logistics/eg_main_018142.asp. Note that this is maintained by the Dept.
of Commerce, and we cannot confirm its accuracy. Please also note that this reference usually does
not include any amounts that are payable for consumption taxes (such as GST, IVA, VAT, etc) that would
apply to domestic products the same as imported products.
In many countries, articles being imported through the postal network with a small value may be
exempt from duty or be imported at a reduced duty rate. If this option is suitable for your country,
we recommend using the EMS shipping option.

Can I use an IP phone or Analog Telephone Adapter with most flat rate telephony service providers, such as Vonage?
Generally, flat rate or unlimited service providers require that you use the adapter or phone provided by them, which is locked to the specific provider. They do this in an effort to prevent abuse of their unlimited service. Some providers, such as Vonage, also have an addon "Open Access Plan", which allows you to use any SIP device. If you are unsure, please contact your service provider to find out their restrictions.
