Claims Process

  • The consignee must retain all packaging material and damaged goods in its original form as received. Packaging and damaged goods should not be disposed of before a claim is completed. Failure to comply will result in the denial of the claim.
  • You must file with us notice of non-delivery, damage or shortage within 14 calendar days. You must provide us and our insurer with any assistance we, at our sole discretion, deem necessary or beneficial to assess and process the claim.
  • Any and all damaged property that was not repaired or replaced must be made available (given) to us or our insurer if requested.
  • Once the claim has been processed and approved by our insurer, prompt payment will be made.
  • We, and our insurer, rely on the determination of responsibility made by the original shipping carrier.
