The Jabra 14201-09 EHS Adapter enables remote Electronic Hook Switch Control (EHS) with Jabra wireless headsets and selected Alcatel IP phones.

This means that users can hear ring tones, answer and end calls, adjust the volume or even mute the call up to 450 ft. away from their desks. The integration of handset and headset allows users to benefit from enhanced mobility and the ability to multitask while on a call. The wireless freedom improves work efficiency and ergonomics throughout the day.

How it works

The EHS Adapter is a plug-and-play solution that converts from the DHSG standard used in Polycom phones to the DHSG standard used in Jabra headsets – and vice versa.

Handset-Headset compatibility

The EHS Adapter is compatible with the follwoing Alcatel phones:

• Alcatel 4029
• Alcatel 4039
• Alcatel IP Touch 4028
• Alcatel IP Touch 4038
• Alcatel IP Touch 4068

For Alcatel IP Touch Extended Edition phones (such as the 4028 EE, 4038 EE and 4068 EE), you need the Jabra LINK EHS Adapter instead.
