The A101D is Sangoma's next generation hardware designed for optimum support of data and voice over T1 and E1. Designed to work with Asterisk, and functionally compatible with Digium's boards, the Sangoma A101d gives you unparalleled flexibility at a great price.

The Sangoma A101D is a single port T1/E1/J1 adapter with 30 channels of hardware-based echo cancellation. It has full hardware support for 1024 taps (128ms) of echo tail across all DS0s. It also features hardware-based DTMF detection and decoding, along with noise reduction and voice enhancement technology.

Operational Modes

• Data only:
  • T1/E1 and fractional T1/E1, single channel HDLC per line.
• Voice mode:
  • Supports Robbed Bit Channel Associated Signaling (CAS) and ISDN PRI.
  • Block mode raw bit-stream interface for integration with the Asterisk Open Source PBX/IVR platform.
  • Channelized mode supporting individual DMA into voice timeslots plus onboard HDLC support of PRI channel for soft PBX implementations that can use these features.
• Mixed Voice/Data Mode:
  • Combination of router/PBX functions in one server - Asterisk as an option.
  • Both 8 bit (64kbps per channel) and 7 bit (56kbps per channel) board-level HDLC support.
